A Kick-off for Relay for Life

Frolicking Frog Winery is a big supporter of the Relay for Life and fundraising. This year our big event is at the Fair Grounds on Feb. 12th, Bld. #2 where the Idler's Demo Kitchen is located. We expect to have 400 people Rocking and Rolling the night away with Frolicking Frog among the 10 wineries to offer wine tasting. Hor'dourves provided by Hospitality Catering and Firestone-Walker Brewery will be on board to offer beer sampling. Plus, listen to rock 'n roll music by Unfinished Business to take you back to the 60's!!

Event opens at 6 pm and we will shut er down around 11. This is a Fundraiser for the Paso Robles Relay For Life and all the money is going to the same place: American Cancer Society. Advance tickets available at Idler's locations. $25.00.

Paso Robles, CA (December 3, 2009) Paso Robles Wine Country announced tickets for the 18th Annual Zinfandel Festival are now on sale at www.pasowine.com. The Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival marquee event puts the fun back in Zinfandel by combining a classic Zin Tasting with a Wine Country Auction on Saturday, March 20, 2010. The evening features two ticket levels; Zinfully Important Person (ZIP) Ticket Level (Entrance at 5:30 p.m.) and Zin Fan Del Ticket Level (Entrance at 7 p.m.). Attendees will enjoy vast selections of Zinfandel and Zinfandel blends, as well as a Wine Country Auction featuring unique items only offered during the Zinfandel Festival. Attracting wine tourists from across the nation, Zinfandel Festival attendees experience three days of wine tasting delight. In addition to the Zin Tasting and Wine Country Auction, more than 140 area wineries offer a compilation of individual events such as winemaker dinners, barrel samples and musical entertainment throughout the weekend.

 

The ZIP Ticket Level is for Zinfandel enthusiasts who cannot get enough of this bold, bodacious berry. ZIP attendees may zip in early to the Zin Tasting and receive special benefits including an exclusive taste of the 2010 Zinfandel Collaborative Blend. ZIP ticket holders will also experience auction items exclusively for them and other special surprises throughout the evening.

“It’s time to dial in the fun during the 2010 Zinfandel Festival. Zin fans will find new enhancements to a traditional walk around tasting integrated into a special Wine Country Auction,” said Stacie Jacob, executive director of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. “We invite you check out quality wines featuring Paso Robles’ heritage grape."

 

The newly formatted Wine Country Auction features items showcased at winery pouring booths, giving wine enthusiasts a chance to learn about the Zinfandel producers of Paso Robles as well as take home their favorite lifestyle packages. One-of-a-kind auction blocks from wineries across the Paso Robles Appellation include wine tasting retreats, dinners with Paso Robles producers, VIP tours, seminars and special large format bottles signed by the winemakers themselves. More than 50 Paso Robles producers will be showcased at the Zin Tasting. The area’s top chefs will also be serving Zinfandel friendly culinary creations.

 

Tickets -- All Zinfandel Festival tasting tickets include unlimited tasting and a commemorative glass made by Riedel.
